Increase the value of an existing pre-authorised transaction.
- On the home screen, tap the icon in the top left to open the menu.
- In the menu, tap Estimated authorisation.
- Select the relevant transaction in the Estimated auth history list. You can use the filter to search by date, amount, card number, or reference.
- On the Estimated auth detail screen, tap Incremental.
- Enter the increment amount and tap Confirm. The terminal processes the incremental authorisation.
Once authorised, the updated amount is confirmed and your merchant receipt is printed.
You can repeat this flow multiple times until the final capture, as long as the total amount doesn't exceed issuer or scheme limits. Note that overuse of increments may trigger issuer risk flags.
