Invoke POS devices over the Unity Gateway from a cloud ePOS or Oracle Opera Cloud.
Cloud invocation lets your back-office or cloud POS call a payment terminal without a local device IP connection. Your system sends the request to PXP over the internet, then Unity routes it to the POS+ device at the merchant site.
We support two ways of invoking a POS device from the cloud:
- PXP cloud device API: Use the cloud device REST API with PXP-POS HMAC authentication.
- Oracle Opera Cloud: Integrate through Oracle's OPI Cloud interface (which PXP supports). Configure terminal mode, mTLS, and site mapping in Opera, then use cloud invocation for card-present payments.
